This is my planned usecase too. Having a small portable device with a real, as opposed to a mobile, Operating System. It will be able to do everything that a Raspi 4 can, except a wired network connection.
I'll use a mobile hotspot from my phone for network connections - but you can also get this with 4G modem included if you prefer that.

And the OS situation can only become better until then. Currently it is a bit rough - officially only an old kernel version is provided etc...
But things are improving fast since more and more people get the uConsoles into their hands.
